If and when I take on a leadership role in a school, I am frightened of becoming disconnected from the classroom. I know this is a fear or concern of other leaders, but what can be done to effectively remedy the situation? I know there are many responsibilities for leaders and administrators which takes up much of their time, but I want to see those leaders and administrators take active roles in the classroom from time to time. I believe there would be merit in requiring administrators to return to the classroom periodically as teachers.
