Change of scenery, Trading ideas

Teachers would be given a year to take their knowledge and teach at another district as an exchange program. Incentive would be an extra stipend and paid travel expenses.

 

This could grow into even trading for a need like math teacher for a science professional.

As teachers we are allowed sick days, personal days, professional development days and bereavement days. I would like to see school districts add Teacher Leadership Days that would be available to teachers. Building community among teachers using peer observation triads

My school has a small recess yard and cafeteria which causes many staggered recesses and lunches by grade level. The classrooms are also situated in the wings of the school roughly by grade level.
