The deadline to submit is midnight (EST), December 9th, 2014. Note: Submission of an idea for the Denver Summit indicates that you would like to be included in a summit (either individually or on a team) to further develop this idea and to create a concrete actionable plan for teacher leadership. Building Capacity to Teach Students from Poverty

Teachers should be able to earn an endorsement to specifically teach students from poverty. We can earn certification in special education, ELL and gifted education. Similarly, there should be a certification that focuses on the data and instructional strategies behind teaching students who come from poverty.
