The deadline to submit is midnight (EST), December 9th, 2014. Note: Submission of an idea for the Denver Summit indicates that you would like to be included in a summit (either individually or on a team) to further develop this idea and to create a concrete actionable plan for teacher leadership. Transforming Common Planning to PLCs: Embedding Teacher-led Vertical Planning & Horizontal Differentiation in High Schools

Our high school traditionally allows for departmental meetings for English, Social Studies, Science, Math, etc. These meetings are primarily a time for the Department Head to take supply orders, communicate administrative directives, and/or take inventory of the teachers' individual concerns.
